The Seattle Seahawks are releasing wide receiver Cody White just days before the team faces the Pittsburgh Steelers. In lieu of that, the team is adding cornerback Shaquil Griffin to their 53-man roster with some injuries in the secondary.

Bill Barnwell is expecting Rodgers and the quick-hitting Steelers offense to be a good bet in fantasy football this week.

Darnold’s first game as QB1 in Seattle was inauspicious at best as the Seahawks’ offense managed just 230 total yards and 13 points in a 17-13 loss to the 49ers. Signed in the offseason after a successful season in Minnesota, Darnold threw for just 150 yards and found the endzone as often as he turned it over...one time.

The Seahawks had big plans for Metcalf before he asked for a trade. Now, they need a receiver to step up against Metcalf's new team.

The noise and the 12s and the beautiful building aren't exactly teaming up to make Lumen a definitive advantage for the Seahawks, however. They were 3-6 at home last year and a gaudy 7-1 on the road. Over the last four seasons, they are only 13-14 at Lumen.
