Get a DVD or Blu-ray Player The first thing you need to do if you want to play back DVDs or Blu-rays is get a disk drive, since they're not included with most PCs anymore.

The only player that I could even get to show an image was the v3 ATI DVD player, but that was at about 1 fps and very stuttering sound. I haven't messed with the dvd-rom firmware, nor the video card.
