The 2026 NFL draft discussion is even more interesting. The simulator currently projects the Jets possessing a 25% chance to earn the No. 1 overall selection. As Zack Rosenblatt notes, that increases to 36% with a defeat to the Browns this weekend, but decreases to 15% with a victory.

Naturally, the line has shifted away from the Jets, as they go from favored to 1.5-point underdogs. The main reason it didn't shift more is they play a lowly Browns team that is starting a rookie quarterback and is also among the worst teams in football this season.

Week 9 will conclude with a Monday Night Football game at AT&T Stadium, as two struggling teams look to get off the mat. Texas native Kyle Murray and the Arizona Cardinals (2-5), losers of five straight, will visit Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys (3-4-1).
