The music festival, which has hosted both Chappell Roan and Noah Kahan, and matched her donation, pledged its support for "access to mental health care for all musicians."

Chappell Roan isn’t the only one dropping $25,000 to support fellow artists. After former music exec Jeff Rabhan called out Roan in an op-ed for the Hollywood Reporter, Roan fought back and asked Rabhan to go band for band in donations to Backline’s “We Got You” campaign inspired by her Grammys speech advocating for better healthcare for musicians.

Combine soulful crooners Benson Boone and Teddy Swims with female rapper Doechii, country/hip-hop artist Shaboozey, British singer-songwriter Raye, pop funk fusion trio Khruangbin, along with pop princess Sabrina Carpenter plus “Midwest Princess” Chappell Roan, and you get a Grammy graduating class of all-stars.

The new fundraising effort was started by Roan and non-profit Backline to "create a safer and more supported industry for artists to thrive."
