A news helicopter crashed Tuesday evening in a commercial part of Los Angeles, killing three people – including the veteran pilot and an aerial photojournalist-reporter – and injuring others, officials said.

The NTSB has arrived on the scene to investigate the crash of a news helicopter, which left three people dead including two members of our NBC Los Angeles family.

Reporter Eliana Moreno and pilot George Marciniw were aboard the helicopter and were killed.
