Bentley is the latest automaker to back away from plans to be building nothing but electric vehicles by 2030. The Beyond 100 plan that four years ago announced Bentley’s anticipated switch to EVs by the end of this decade has been quietly rebranded "Beyond 100+".

Bentley is once again reshuffling its electrification plans, but still expects to have an all-electric lineup by 2035, the automaker announced Thursday.

Bentley has revealed details of its first all-electric model, a Luxury Urban SUV, set to be built in the UK at the heavily remodelled Bentley plant in Crewe.

Bentley has announced that it is revising its commitment to becoming an electric-only car brand to 2035 from 2030. The British brand’s decision reflects a similar delay followed by other brands – Volvo recently changed its plans on becoming an EV-only firm – though it’ll still look to introduce its first electric model in 2026.
