The 2025-26 college basketball season is in full swing, and the latest batch of rankings has been released. On Monday, February 9, the latest AP Top 25 poll dropped with the undefeated Arizona Wildcats continuing to sit at the top.
Kansas men’s basketball is ranked No. 9 in the latest AP Top 25 poll, which was released Monday. After winning against both Texas Tech and Utah last week, the Jayhawks (18-5, 8-2 Big 12) rose from No. 11 to No. 9 in this week’s poll. It’s the first time KU has been in the top 10 of the AP Poll this season.
The biggest change of the week, as far as the SEC is concerned, is thanks to what went down at Rupp Arena on Saturday night. The Kentucky Wildcats are back in the poll, stealing Tennessee’s No. 25 spot from the week prior. The Vols, subsequently, are out of the top 25 after giving up another double-digit lead in a loss to the Wildcats.
The 24-0 Miami University RedHawks are ranked No. 23 in the latest AP Top 25 men's college basketball poll released Feb. 9. The RedHawks also were ranked 23rd last week. The RedHawks received 195 votes in the new poll. MU defeated Marshall, 90-74, on Feb. 8.
