Dallas-Fort Worth will be sunny but chilly Monday before an arctic cold front prompts an extreme weather watch.

After Texans experienced a brief winter respite with milder temperatures late last week, an arctic blast of weather is arriving to mess up the early part of the week. Forecasters with the National Weather Service are anticipating the "coldest temperatures of the season" Tuesday through Thursday,

Saturday was in the 70s, Sunday in the mid-40s and windy. Two seasons in one weekend. Monday looks to be the best day in the week ahead.Please note the 70% rain chance for Tuesday. Most of this will be light rain but it will be windy with dropping temperatures by afternoon.
