The Oregon State baseball team will live another day. The Beavers rebounded from their Friday night flop in impressive fashion, defeating the TCU Horned Frogs 7-2 Saturday in an elimination game at the Corvallis Regional.

The TCU baseball season had a rough ending. Seven runs through the first three innings proved to be all Oregon State needed to stay alive and end the Horned Frogs’ season on Saturday in the Corvallis Regional, 7-2. One day after both teams lost their regional openers, the two highest seeds needed a win to stay alive.

Four home runs in the first three innings gave Oregon State all the scoring it would need, while a great start from Dax Whitney shut down TCU.
