Seven planets will align in night sky for rare celestial parade that won't be seen again until 2040
Astrophysics expert Albert Zijlstra, Professor at The University of Manchester, said: "This kind of event is rare," he said. "September 8 2040 is the next time the five bright planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus and Mercury) are visible simultaneously.", reports the Manchester Evening News.
While all seven planets could appear in some form in parts of the U.S., not all of them will be visible to the naked eye.
