Netflix’s Devil May Cry anime is based on Capcom’s 23-year-old action franchise of the same name, which was created by game designer Hideki Kamiya, who recently announced his return to the Okami franchise. It’s been more than five years since we got a new Devil May Cry video game; Devil May Cry 5 was the most recent, and hopefully not the last.

It's been a long time coming - seven years, in fact - but Netflix's animated adaption of Devil Cry is almost upon us. The streaming service has announced the series premiers on 3rd April, and there's a trailer of sorts to accompany the news.

Netflix just revealed the devilishly cool opening sequence to its Devil May Cry anime adaptation helmed by Castlevania producer Adi Shankar, set to release on April 3. First of all, the title sequence theme song is "Rollin'" by Limp Bizkit.
