The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for multiple Southeast Texas counties starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday and lasting through 7 p.m.

Wind gusts around 35 mph are forecast near coastal areas on Thursday, with gusts potentially reaching 35-40 mph on Friday as the storm system exits into Canada and deepens. The weather service notes there is a low probability that wind gusts could exceed 45 mph on Friday.
