Nearly a quarter of the Orioles’ active roster had to be replaced overnight after Baltimore made five deals at the trade deadline.

One of the more coveted power bats on the free-agent market has found a new home. Baltimore Orioles slugger Ryan O'Hearn was dealt to the San Diego Padres, along with Ramon Laureano, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan. The return for Baltimore is not yet clear.

The Baltimore Orioles traded Ryan O'Hearn and Ramon Laureano, following the trade of Cedric Mullins. Mullins, a centerfielder, is headed to the New York Mets for three prospects -- third baseman Anthony Nunez, right-handed pitcher Raimon Gomez, and right-handed pitcher Chandler Marsh, the Orioles announced.
