His words were echoed by Ellen Pompeo, Kerry Washington, Jimmy Kimmel, and many more notable people and celebrities who spoke out in support of the nationwide protests.

Numerous Marvel actors, including Mark Ruffalo, Marisa Tomei, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Glenn Close, were part of the No Kings protest.

"Being brave for what we hold dear — our freedoms, our democracy, and each other — it's on us, guys," said the actor at a demonstration in New York City on Saturday.
