We are quickly closing in on the 24th July release date for the catchily-titled Super Mario Party Jamboree - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV, and Nintendo has lifted the lid on a bunch of new features we can expect to find when playing on the new console.

Mario Kart World is the Switch 2 launch title that most people will recognize, but it wasn't always intended to be one. In fact, the game's developers have revealed they actually wanted to release the open-world racer on the original Switch console. But the older hardware just couldn't handle it.

A Mario SNES game from 1992 may be making a comeback via the Nintendo Switch 2, or so some Nintendo fans think. Gaming in 1992 was defined by the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Final Fantasy V, Dragon Quest V,
