A West Bloomfield lottery club recently claimed the prize for a Powerball ticket worth $2 million that was purchased in Detroit, according to the Michigan Lottery. The FDL lottery club's ticket matched the five white balls drawn Sept. 3 — 3, 16, 29, 61 and 69. The Power Play increased the $1 million prize to $2 million.

The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $400 million for the November 1 drawing. No winner matched all numbers in the last draw, causing the prize to grow. Players can choose a lump sum or annuity.

KENTUCKY (WFIE) - A Kentucky couple took home a good chunk of change after winning $50,000 on a free promotional Powerball ticket. Lottery officials say for years, the couple faithfully played the lottery every week. The ticket, which they received in Louisville, was a free since they took part in the First Friday Promotion.

Edwin Castro of Altadena, California, who won $2.04 billion Powerball lottery Nov. 7, 2022, opted for the lump sum, which was just shy of $1 billion.

Three jackpot tickets in the Florida Lotto, Powerball, Fantasy 5 and Cash4Life games came from Publix stores in Miami Beach, Lighthouse Point and St. Augustine.
