The Joy Reid era at MSNBC is over. The liberal commentator, who will be leaving her 7 p.m. weeknight show amidst a larger shakeup, was perhaps the network's toughest critic of Donald Trump, delivering blistering critiques of both the president and his voters.

Joy Reid will host her final evening news show with MSNBC this week as part of a slate of programming changes by Rebecca Kutler, the network’s new president, sources familiar with the matter told CNN.

Ms. Reid’s 7 p.m. program will be replaced by a panel show co-hosted by Symone Sanders Townsend, Alicia Menendez and Michael Steele.
