A 30-year-old has been identified as the man who died Sunday after he was shot through the door of his Fort Worth apartment. Joey Salinas died Sunday after he was shot at about 6 a.m. at an apartment in the 2900 block of North Main Street, according to Fort Worth police and the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

About 8 p.m., a 911 caller reported that someone was shot and "a lot of people were fighting" at Gateway Park.

Through the preliminary investigation, detectives found that the woman who died and another shooting victim were at the complex to fight the other women present. As the vehicle, driven by the shooting victim, approached the group, unknown suspects fired multiple shots, striking the vehicle and both victims, police said.
