Merlin Entertainments Group operates several popular attractions in Orlando, Fla., and on Tuesday named former chief operating officer Fiona Eastwood its new chief executive officer.

Fiona Eastwood has been named CEO of Merlin Entertainments Group, the operator of dozens of attractions worldwide, including Legoland Florida theme park, Madame Tussauds Orlando, Sea Life Aquarium Orlando and the Orlando Eye observation wheel on International Drive.

Global theme park operator also runs the likes of Legoland and Madame Tussauds, with its new boss having been in the role on an interim basis since November 2024

Merlin Entertainments has announced that interim CEO Fiona Eastwood will take on the role permanently. Eastwood will lead Europe’s largest and the world’s second-largest visitor attraction operator, which has 147 attractions across 24 countries. She took the helm in the interim at the end of November, after the departure of Scott O’Neil.

Merlin Entertainments, the global giant which runs the likes of Alton Towers, Legoland and Madame Tussauds, has named a new full-time CEO.

Dorset headquartered theme park company Merlin Entertainments, which operates major attractions including Alton Towers, Legoland, and Madame Tussauds, has appointed Fiona Eastwood as chief executive. It follows her initial appointment to the role on an interim basis at the end of November 2024.
