Madison Square Garden says in a court filing that Charles Oakley’s attorney rewrote portions of the manuscript of the former Knicks star’s book to “tell a fundamentally different story from the truth” about the night he was arrested after an altercation at the arena.

In the latest twist in the now eight-year legal battle between retired New York Knicks star Charles Oakley and Madison Square Garden Networks, MSG on Monday filed a court memorandum blasting Oakley and his attorneys for alleged "blatant spoliation of five years" of texts.
