States across the U.S. are feeling the impact of the Canadian wildfires as air quality takes a hit from the smoke, according to a government website that tracks air quality in the United States.

Officials said they've sent several crews to assist in controlling the massive wildfires, and they don't expect them to stop until Canada sees some snow.

Smoke from hundreds of wildfires in Canada is lingering over the northern U.S., spreading across to roughly a dozen states from Wisconsin to Maine.
