British Columbia could see a $69 billion economic impact and 124,000 job losses due to a United States 25% tariff on all Canadian imports.

The government of British Columbia says if president-elect Donald Trump follows through with his promise of a 25 per cent tariff on Canadian goods once his presidency begins, it could result in the province losing about $69 billion by 2028.

Premier David Eby said British Columbia families face a direct threat from U.S. president-elect Donald Trump's "declaration of economic war" with his proposed 25 per cent tariffs on Canadian goods.
