Let the good times roll! South Louisiana is gearing up for the 2025 Mardi Gras season and there are several parades and parties that will roll through the streets of Baton Rouge and surrounding areas in celebration.

The storied Zulu Social Aide & Pleasure Club's parade will roll on a shortened route starting at 7 a.m. — an hour earlier than normal — without marchers, bands or truck floats, according Darren Mire, Zulu's director of public relations. Rex is also set to roll early at 9:30 a.m.
