Aroldis Chapman rips Yankees

The Yankees and Red Sox are rivals, and closer Aroldis Chapman is dialing the rivalry's temperature with his comments that he'd never pitch for the Yankees again.
Chapman, a hard-throwing lefthander who routinely hits triple digits with his fastball, was largely effective during his tenure with the Yankees. From 2017 to 2022, he recorded the fifth-most saves in MLB, a 3.05 ERA and posted a 37 percent strikeout rate.
Since then, he played one season with the Pittsburgh Pirates and another, revitalized season with the Red Sox. In 67 appearances with the Yankees’ division rival, Chapman posted a career-best 1.17 ERA while striking out 85 batters over 61 1/3 innings.
