Goodall plans to return to his janitor duties “for a while,” and “America’s Got Talent” judge Heidi Klum predicted he’ll have the “biggest welcoming party” at the school where he works. At the beginning of the season, Klum pressed the coveted Golden Buzzer for the singing janitor, which sends a contestant directly through to the live shows.

Last season, dog act Adrian Stoica and Hurricane scored the $1 million grand prize and a headlining performance slot in “America’s Got Talent Presents Superstars Live” at Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada as the Season 18 winners.

After a whole season of show-stopping performances, America’s Got Talent Season 19 has crowned its winner. After the public voted for their favorite, one act took home the $1 million prize at the NBC talent competition hosted by Terri Crews.

Richard Goodall came back to Indiana late Wednesday, ran errands on Thursday and was back to work at 6 a.m. Friday, where he received a warm welcome.
