Xbox will launch two new handheld gaming devices, ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, this holiday season. The products are made in collaboration with ASUS and described as combining “the power of Xbox with the freedom you expect from Windows.

Microsoft (MSFT) announced its entry into the portable gaming market with the launch of its first dedicated handheld consoles, the ROG Xbox Ally and the ROG Xbox Ally X, developed in partnership with ASUS at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025.

Microsoft is teaming up with Asus to launch an Xbox-branded PC handheld, and two different models will be available at launch.
