A manhunt is under way in Minnesota for the suspect in the shooting attacks of 2 Minnesota lawmakers at their Twin Cities homes.
State Rep. Melissa Hortman and State Sen. John Hoffman, who were targeted by a shooter on Saturday, were longtime members of Minnesota's state legislature.
Drew Evans, the superintendent of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, said “we will be in a position where we’ll be able to develop the motivation behind these attacks and we’ll be able to provide more information as this unfolds.
A Minnesota state representative and her husband were killed early Saturday, and a state senator and his wife were injured.
