Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa has improved as a leader as he enters Year 6 of his NFL career. He’s in control and command of the offense and team.

That concussion sidelined Tagovailoa four games as the Dolphins sank to an early 2-4 start to the 2024 season. Tagovailoa did return in Week 8 and proceeded to start nine more games last season, but he missed the final two contests with a hip injury.

While he has performed at a Pro Bowl level, injuries prevented Tua Tagovailoa from truly maximizing his potential during his first five seasons in the NFL. As he approaches his sixth season, the Miami Dolphins ' quarterback acknowledged that he adjusted his mindset as he looks to place a higher priority on his safety.
