India’s aviation safety regulator has said it has found no “major safety concerns” during inspections of Air India’s Boeing 787 aircraft following Thursday’s fatal crash of a flight from Ahmedabad to London.
The crash happened just weeks after the company cut a deal with the U.S. government to avoid taking criminal responsibility for a pair of deadly crashes in 2018 and 2019.
The Federal Aviation Administration has still not learned anything that would prompt the agency to take regulatory action in response to the deadly crash five days ago of an Air India Boeing 787-8.
