We went to spend a night in the Wolf Dome. Frankly I have concerns about the care of the animals. The pig sty was scary disgusting. Every enclosure seemed in need of cleaning. I've visited many z… Full review by applspar

DON'T GO! Just don't. Even if you don't make an optional donation, you will leave disappointed. I gave it a great review years ago, but it's nothing like it used to be. A couple years ago they lost… Full review by mdos7

AS long as the dog is not aggressive, and you have full control over it, you're fine. It's hard to predict which dogs the wolves will like, as they respond to smell and demeanor, so the only drawback is that if the wolves react aggressively, you won't want to have the dog near their enclosure, as it will distract from your enjoyment of the facility. There are plenty of trails at the Refuge, so even if the dog doesn't work out near the wolves, you could just place the dog in the car, for that part of your visit. Steve

There is a rough path to the wolf enclosure, which is right below the parking lot. If the visitor is disabled, we suggest that someone drive the group down to the Refuge, where the rest of the enclosures are, eliminating the 500 foot walk down the driveway. If it's a relatively busy day, the driver can then go back and drop the car off in the parking lot.
